Okie Tru's are a new proprietary chicken breed that will lay either a blue or green shaded egg. They are NOT Easter Eggers since they will only lay a blue or green shaded egg. They are the ultimate Okie bird with a good disposition and ability to tolerate heat. Okie Tru's are some of the most prolific layers, laying up to 300 eggs per year. Another great feature of this chicken is the large size eggs as opposed to the smaller eggs Easter Eggers lay. These chickens tend to lay longer than other breeds for up to 3 years.
